Well today I tried to leave the hostel. Really, I did. I had it in my mind to go to Fremantle and stay at a place that has free internet called the Firestation. But when I mentioned to a guy staying in the room where I was going he urged me not to go there. He said that it's a terrible place with drugs, alcohol, parties etc. He bluntly said "I can't see you staying there". So I reconsidered my decision. The guy suggested I just stay at the current hostel and do some daytrips around and then he got the other people in the room to tell me to stay as well. Well, why not? After lots of hemming and hawing I finally decided to sign on for another week. Poor hostel owners, I had already stirpped my bed and packed up when I announced I wanted to stay longer. I apologized for the trouble, which they said was no problem. So another week at the hostel. Oh well, I'm getting used to this one, I suppose. The people are nice, it's a small hostel and clean. After that evil girl left it's been pretty quiet as well. So in Perth I stay. I did see that there's a special on some tours, 3 full day tours for $199 which is a very good deal considering those tours are worth $130-145 each. Not bad. So I guess I"ll do that...Plus a girl at the hostel has just flown in from Singapore so tonight I"m going to sit down with her and pick her brain about it. Good enough.
